Glenn Beck Would Fail My Class

The Domino Theory, which argued that if one country fell to communist forces, then all of the surrounding countries would follow, was first proposed as policy by the Eisenhower administration. It was, and is still, commonly hypothesized that it applied to Vietnam. John F. Kennedy, then a U.S. senator, said in a speech to the American Friends of Vietnam: “Burma, Thailand, India, Japan, the Philippines and obviously Laos and Cambodia are among those whose security would be threatened if the Red Tide of Communism overflowed into Vietnam. -Wikipeda

The Vietnam Era domino oversimplification — much like this chubby resource room drop-outs conjectured analysis — was based upon the theoretical existence of a “Monolithic Communist Threat.” In other words: the Russians were “pulling the strings” of the Vietnamese nationalist revolution. Totally false. Even the men who cited this theory in public, privately knew it was false. But it served to further their worldview. SO…

And now this poorly read, unstudied slob is trying to revive this nonsense: a Monolithic Islamic Threat? a Monolithic Labor Threat? …oh for fuck’s sake…
